ABOUT JOURNAL
Santalka: Filosofija, Komunikacija (Coactivity: Philosophy, Communication), peer-reviewed and published semi-annually research journal is intended for interdisciplinary philosophy and communication research. The journal publishes articles that explore the phenomena of communication, as well articles on visual studies. On the one hand, the philosophical articles should include the issues of communications. On the other hand, the articles on communication, media, and visual studies should appeal to the philosophical context. The journal aims to not only promote existing research disciplines such as philosophy and communication but also pioneer a new one that lies in the multidisciplinary area between the domains of philosophy and communication.
The journal covers, but is not restricted to, the following topics:
· Philosophy of communication
· Communication theory, communication discourses
· Media and/or visual studies
· Cross- and multi-cultural communication
· Multi- and inter-disciplinary communication
· The philosophical problems in audio (visual) studies
· Ethical and aesthetical aspects of media arts
· Social and political communication
· Media ecology
· Communication and creativity
· Daily life and existential communication
· Communication issues in cultural, creative and entertainment industries
· Urban communication
