Laima Monginaitė

Abstract

The paper discusses potentialities of phenomenological methodology in describing particularity of the aesthetical conscious and experience. A substantial question of constructing a notional model of aesthetical phenomena is raised in the paper, and R. Ingarden‘s model of aesthetical experience is analysed. By applying phenomemonological procedures, R. Ingarden created original conceptions in aesthetics. The structure of aesthetical experience revealed by this Polish author shows a multilayered character of phenomena in the aesthetical conscious, and defines an aesthetically specific response of a subject. R.Ingarden‘s model of aesthetical experience is acknowledged to be universal, revealing the essence of aesthetical attitude and experience.
